Ipamorelin – Benefits and Side Effects

ipamorelin

As the most potent growth hormone releasing peptide available, ipamorelin is often used by bodybuilders and athletes to enhance physical performance. It has also been shown to reduce the signs of aging and promote weight loss. However, before you purchase this peptide it is important to understand its benefits and side effects.

Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide that was developed in the course of a major chemistry programme. It is an analog of GHRP-6 that has high GH releasing activity in vitro, with a potency comparable to that of GHRP-6 and a similar oral bioavailability.

While ipamorelin is not as well-studied as some other peptides, there is one human study that examined its effects in bowel resection patients. It found that ipamorelin was safe and well-tolerated. In this study, subjects received two injections of 0.03mg per kilogram of bodyweight over a seven day period. This means that a person weighing 80kg would inject about 2.44mg of ipamorelin every week.

In addition to increasing muscle mass, ipamorelin also promotes fat loss by suppressing your appetite. It does this by activating the ghrelin receptors. In some studies, ipamorelin has also been shown to stimulate insulin secretion from the pancreatic islet cells.

While ipamorelin is considered to be very safe, it does have some side effects, including headaches and nausea. In some cases, people experience tingling in their fingers and toes and feelings of warmth or flushing. If you experience these side effects, talk to your doctor to see if you can reduce or avoid them. It is also important to note that ghrelin mimetics are banned in competitive sports, and so you should not take them if you are planning to compete.
